The Queen Bee Market is hosting an amazing give a way. On November 16th one lucky lady will BEE a QUEEN for the day! Hair, make-up, the works!
When I read about this, I knew just who I wanted to nominate.
My dear friend, mentor, supporter, cheerleader and a huge example to me,
Tracy is not only a mom to five beautiful half Hawaiian boys, she is an AMAZING mom!! She is doing a remarkable job. I LOVE sitting at her kitchen table around 3:00 in the afternoon when it turns into grand central station with kids coming in the door from school. I love how she orchestrates the busy afternoon and makes it look so easy. My favorite part is that those boys love their mama and come and give her some love before they head off to play with their friends!
Speaking of love, Tracy is married to the love of her life, Stu. They adore one another and it is so cute to see the love and partnership they have. They are an amazing team!
On top of being a mom to five sweet boys, she is also a special needs mama. Her youngest son was born with Spina Bifida (like my Katie). She had been at his side through endless surgeries with him. She is his advocate, nurse and voice. She has fought hard for that little boy and through it all, he smiles. She and Stu have raised their Kumaka to be such a little ray of sunshine!
Tracy is raising Eagle Scouts
Tracy is an amazing friend, like I mentioned before. I always feel like she has my back, no matter what. She is true, through and through. Love her so much!
Tracy is an amazing advocate in the Spina Bifida world.
The month of October is Spina Bifida awareness month and she has dedicated her blog to raising awareness. She has featured a new family every single day (hours of work) and helped to share their story. It has been wonderful to us SB families to learn more about other families who are like us and meet new SB friends . It has also helped raise awareness and even more so it has become a gift to new SB parents. Parents who have just learned that their baby will be born with SB can go to her blog and see endless posts with children and families smiling and LIVING life, giving these parents HOPE.
On top of all that Tracy does, she is now in the process of trying to adopt a sweet little girl, Sofi Rose who was also born with Spina Bifida living in an orphanage in Eastern Europe. Her heart is so big and so willing and ready to help. She has been fundraising and working non stop to help bring her future daughter home. Talk about endless love!
It is a big task, but I know Tracy will do whatever it takes to make it happen.
And that my friends, is just a few reasons why this beautiful lady deserves to BEE QUEEN for the day!
Soon, you will have the chance to vote for this sweet friend on the Queen Bee blog here. details coming soon!
Sounds like a pretty remarkable person.

ReplyDeleteWow- I want to be friends with Tracy! :) What an amazing inspiration and friend. Special needs mommas unite. Thanks for entering her Sarah. xo
ReplyDeleteI was so lucky to spend some time with Tracy while at your last boutique/blog conference. It's so fun to meet people you follow in real life, and even better to know that they are even better than they appear to be in blog land. Xoxox
