In just a few weeks I will be speaking at this local blog conference.
I am so humbled by this invitation to speak. I look at the other speakers and wonder how in the world I got to be in the amazing line up? I love the ladies hosting the conference and last year looked like a total blast, so I for sure said "yes" but I will admit, I am nervous and will for sure feel out of my comfort zone.
So, as I sit here writing the outline of my talk wondering what in the world I have to say or offer to these guests, I thought maybe I could ask you.
If you are coming, or if you were coming, what would you want to learn?
What would you want to hear?
More stories or more suggestions?
More stories or more suggestions?
What do you want to get out of a day like this?
My number one goal is to not hear crickets chirping.
Would you mind taking a second and to think about those questions and then let me know? I'd love you forever!
Thanks friends!
XO
p.s.... I will randomly pick two people who commented and send them a pouch and hair wrap to thank you for helping me out with this.
I am super excited about Elevate. I think that when I signed up to attend Elevate I read the mission of the conference and thought of it more as a bonding experience amoung bloggers. A relationship building event. I think personally I would like to hear stories. I have been following your sweet family since I signed up and would love to know more about your story. Honestly thought Im pretty sure you could read the phone book and I would be interested in it :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to hear how you took a passion and made it into your career. It is a scary venture, leaving a secure 9-5 to pursue your dream on the hope that you can create, market, and sell your product successfully.
ReplyDeleteand yet, your family story of how you triumphed over so many obstacles is truly touching and inspiring. All momma would be touched by it.
Sarah, you have a passion and a gift. Not all people who have one of those, or both of those traits, run with it! You did. Share what sparked your passion and how you turned it into a wonderful, fun business. You are creative and it shows. You have three lovely children who are blessed by what you do and how you've accomplished it. Your children are learning through you.
ReplyDeleteAnd remember, those other women at the conference, once stood in your shoes. They will be inspired and you will inspire them.
Blessings,
Molly
So happy for you that you have a chance to speek at Elevate and happy for all of those people who will be blessed hearing your story.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going but if I would I would love to hear more of your story and journey from when you started your dream til know with all your successful shows, conferences and shop.
And also how you DO ALL THIS!! Between family and a growing business it would be nice to hear how you manage to keep going and ALWAYS have a smile and a positive attitude ;)
