A huge Thank you to all the vendors, shoppers and supporters who came to the "Craft for a Cause" Penelope Lane Summer Boutique. The Ms. Wheelchair foundation was over joyed with how the fundraiser went. This was their most successful fundraiser yet and we have so many of you to thank! My heart is so full.
I posted a ton of pictures from the event over here and I have a lot more to blog about, but here is a quick recap for now..
Set up started at 6:45 and soon after darling booths started to come together, one after one! I could not take all the cuteness! The Hyatt gave us a huge space to work with so we had booths in the front welcome area as well as in the ballroom! It was nice to have extra room to breath and spread out a little more.
When the Boutique opened at 9:00, I looked up to see this cute group coming down the escalator! My dear friend Jenni brought a van full of friends from Rancho Cucamonga to come to the boutique!
Every Vendor went above and beyond to make their booth so darling! I could not get over it! Everywhere I looked it was like eye candy!!
My favorite part of boutiques is getting to see and visit with blog and crafty friends.
Mique from 30 Days and the Queen Bee herself, Jess from allorah handmade, Tracy from Creme de la Gems, Alissa from Rags to Stitches Stacy from Bubba's Basics
This was my friend Chante's first boutique and you would never know! Look how darling her Club Rowdy booth was!
Natalie and her husband Micah from Take the Cannoli I could not wait to get a hoop from her! This was their first boutique as well and they look like old pro's! Such a darling set up!!
My sister Sandy could not wait to shop at her favorite Inspire Lovely's darling booth!
How cute is this sweet family who came by my booth to get their sweet twins some hair accessories!! One of the twins names was Penelope Jane!! Too cute!!
My loot from the show.
Already Carter wore his tie to church, "Choose Joy" is on the piano in the front room, I've used my new soaps in this mornings shower, filling in August dates on my new calendar and wearing my new allora necklace to add to my collection.
I love handmade.
Once again, I can't thank the vendors and our supporters enough. It was a very special day that brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it.
